Hypnotherapy is a truly natural and safe process. You remain in complete control throughout the session. There is a common myth that hypnosis makes you do things you don’t’ want to do. We’ve all seen those stage hypnotists at work. Be reassured that stage hypnosis is just entertainment; hypnotherapy is a completely different process.
It isn’t a case of ‘one size fits all’ so it will very much depend on the individual, however, the majority of clients tend to have between 6 and 12 sessions. More complex issues may take longer.
Every treatment session has the same format – your brain loves repetition! A large part of the session is talking, giving your subconscious plenty to work on during the hypnosis part of the session.
Hypnotherapy is not something that just happens to you. Your motivation to change and commitment to put in the work between sessions is an integral part of the process and is fundamental to achieving the best results.
